FIELD DESCRIPTION

Nursing is one of the most in-demand professions on the labor market, and studying this program provides the opportunity to pursue one of the most universal and versatile medical careers. During the course of study, students will acquire skills in professional nursing care, learn to apply up-to-date knowledge to ensure safety and high-quality care, and gain competencies in promoting health, preventing illness, and providing comprehensive care for the sick and disabled. Practical skills are taught by experienced academic staff with extensive professional expertise.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE STUDIES

The program is designed to provide students with knowledge, skills, and the necessary psycho-physical qualities required for the nursing profession. An integral part of the studies includes clinical placements in hospitals and specialized healthcare institutions, as well as practical training in providing care for both healthy and ill individuals. Graduates will be proficient in a foreign language at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and will be able to use specialist nursing terminology.

3 years (6 semesters) – full-time and part-time studies

GRADUATE PROFILE

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to practice independently as nurses and to work in both public and private healthcare institutions, including hospitals, primary healthcare centers, nursing and care facilities, palliative and hospice care centers, as well as social welfare homes. Graduates will also be prepared to take up employment in healthcare and social care facilities across all European Union countries.
