FIELD DESCRIPTION

The educational curriculum of the second-cycle studies in Interior Architecture is aimed at broadening and refining the skills acquired during the first-cycle programme. It is designed to provide enhanced theoretical and practical knowledge, enabling students to gain competencies necessary for completing more complex, creative, and technologically advanced projects. At this stage, a strong emphasis is placed on independent work, allowing students to take on more ambitious design challenges.

Students master advanced design methodologies, including techniques for analyzing and interpreting user requirements, as well as methods for verifying architectural solutions in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and technology.

RECOMMENDED PREDISPOSITIONS TO COMMENCE STUDIES

Second-cycle studies are intended for graduates of first-cycle programes who wish to deepen their knowledge and develop their skills in the field of interior design. The curriculum was developed with individuals in mind who want to expand their theoretical and practical competencies, acquire more advanced knowledge in spatial design, and refine their design techniques.

Graduates of the following fields: Architecture, Architecture and Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Graphics, and Design, as well as other disciplines related to visual arts, art education, or the conservation of works of art (included in the field of visual arts and conservation of works of art), may apply for admission. Candidates must submit a portfolio containing 10 works (e.g., graphics, drawings, designs, visualizations) and pass a qualifying interview.

GRADUATE PROFILE

Graduates of second-cycle studies are fully prepared for independent, creative design work in the fields of interior architecture, exhibition and furniture design, color and lighting planning, and exposition within both utility and cultural contexts. They are also equipped to undertake artistic, research, and promotional activities aimed at the dissemination of cultural values.
